Our Vision
Our mission is to foster a mathematically qualified and technologically literate workforce. We strive to achieve this by developing standards-driven curricula for teachers and providing every learner with education, healthy competition, and workforce-readiness. Our goal is to increase interest in science, technology, engineering, math, and computer science, and to inspire kids to have fun experimenting with these subjects.
We believe that everyone can learn, and we’re dedicated to removing the preconceived notions, stigma, and fear that are typically associated with education and learning. Our innovative approach to education focuses on introducing the concept of synoptic learning, which enables people to learn how to learn.
Our vision is to lay an intellectual foundation for the future of learning, while addressing today’s need for scientific information to tackle local and global issues such as robotic aid and autonomous exploration. We believe that by sharing our scientific journey, we can connect with others and improve science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) education across the nation.
Our work is divided into four broad scientific pursuits: Perception, Robotics, Aerial Navigation, and Artificial Intelligence according to which our laboratory is aptly named, the PRANITI Lab. Each pursuit has its own set of sub-goals, fostering collaboration among students, research staff, and faculty to solve real-world problems through fundamental research and its applications.
Why Shaikshya Kala?
At Shaikshya Kala, our philosophy is to present people with the idea that there are many ways to learn and imbibe new knowledge, in other words, there is an artform to the learning and its technicalities. Literally translated, Shaikshya Kala means ‘the art of learning’.
Our goal is to emphasize learning and the instrument of the way we teach how to learn is through computer vision and robotics. We believe everyone’s approach to learning is different, and hence, we enable, encourage and induct the art of ‘learning how to learn’ and find the optimal route for our students to excel in their endeavors.

Rishab Shah is the co-founder and the managing director of Shaikshya Kala, a for-profit enterprise with the mission of bringing good quality, essential education provided in an easy-to-understand, comprehensive and authentic way to all learners in India. Rishab’s interest in education grew while pursuing his graduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Boston University, specializing in Computer Vision. After graduation, he took up the position of a Research Scientist with an emerging startup, where he had the opportunity to work with and learn from the leading innovators in the field of computer vision. He moved back to India to realize his dream to lay the groundwork for a mode of education that is available to everyone.

Co-founder and Director
Co-founder and Director-in-charge of Education Policy and Administration Brahma Shah has had a successful career in education, teaching classes and conducting seminars for young learners. Her expertise in formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring materials and resources, and securing compliance has been invaluable to the company.
Co-founder and Director Mahesh Shah brings over two decades of industry experience, including notable experience running a school for the young people of the town of India in Karnataka. His vision and leadership drive our mission for holistic education at Shaikshya Kala.
